Discover My Big Book of Texas with Author-Illustrator C.S. Jennings in September #TXBookChat

Austin, TX – Join the Texas Center for the Book on Wednesday, Sept. 23, from 10 – 10:30 a.m. (CT) for a fun virtual discussion with children’s book author and illustrator C.S. Jennings! We’ll be discussing his new picture book, My Big Book of Texas, which celebrates the Lone Star State.

C.S. Jennings is a Texas-born (seventh generation!) author and illustrator whose books combine humor, adventure and curiosity to inspire young readers. A former animator, Jennings created the Pet Shop Racers graphic novel series and the picture book WHOA, PANDA! With My Big Book of Texas, he celebrates the wildlife, landscape, people and traditions that make Texas unique. Following the interview, Jennings will do a live (virtual) Q and A with attendees.
